This series of books mostly take place in a world called Escavia. Perhaps it would be better to say Mid- Eastern Escavia is the main setting in which the chronicles are detailed, because there are otherwise a number of continents in the world of Escavia.

​

In this series of stories the intention is not to produce endless sequels, but to document various adventures set in the world of Escavia in which various characters appear and reappear or are referred to, as within a simulation to an alternative reality.

 

A few non spoiler points are fair to mention in that wizards, and by association , witches, have a form of magic that is not always subtle and although they can wield great power they have a code that compels them to remain aloof from the normal world. They tend to dwell in small groups of communities they call towers, whether they live in an actual castle or underground complex or wherever.

 

When both spheres cross it is generally a necessity and an unhappy one at that for both parties.

 

As for the rest of the world the wizards are largely ignored and when crossed it is rarely without antipathy. The world does not trust wizards, and approach warily if there is no alternative but to seek help from a sorcerer. People are in a pseudo-medieval society and often laden by superstitions peculiar to it.

 

Secondly wizards aren't generally the sort to willingly help and rarely give anything much for nothing.

 

I hope that as you delve into these adventures they bring you at least some element of the pleasure as I have had in creating these, Escavian Chronicles.
